It feels like only yesterday when I sat down with the laptop and thought 'I'm going to start a beauty blog' time really has flown by! When I first started blogging I really didn't have any idea of where I would go with it, I started because I was struggling to find a full time job after uni and I just felt really fed up and I thought that a blog would keep me occupied. I love beauty and skincare, so I thought that a blog would be a great way to talk about it and also learn new things from other bloggers.
This post is really just to say thank you to everyone that reads or comments, I know everyone says numbers don't matter but it does make me smile to know that there are people who like my blog and read what I have to say! I appreciate every single reader and every comment that I get, it genuinely makes me so happy :) I don't think I am the best blogger in the world, for one I am pretty irregular with my posting sometimes, but this is something I hope to address.
I will be honest and say there have been a few times when I have thought about cancelling the blog, especially when I changed my name (before Cosmetic Charm I was mmm...makeup!) and my page views dropped way down, to the point where I thought it was pointless to continue. It was a pretty upsetting time, as I felt I was just starting to get to grips with blogging. Thankfully everything is back to normal!
Hopefully I will be writing a post just like this in a years time and that you will be reading it! This blog wouldn't be anything without my lovely readers, so a big smoochy kiss to you all :)
